Besides her gorgeous looks, she's got a sweet personality to boot! She loves her attention and prefers to be in the center lime light, but she gets along great with other dogs and cats! She loves children who can run and play with her, but seems to think the infants/young ones get too much of her attention and she acts out (accidents, chewing items, etc.) so we recommend a home with older ones that can give her the attention she seeks! Cheyenne loves to go for walks/runs, enjoys visiting the dog park, and loves sleeping on her big pet bed. Even though she's got amazing looks, she hates having her picture taken and she will hide from the camera! Cheyenne is very smart and loves to learn new things. She knows her basic commands and has good leash manners (most of the time) but she does have a stubborn, independent streak in her. She would love to compete in a basic obedience class or two to give her brain a workout and help her bond with her new family. She loves to chew on her bones and enjoys being near her family as much as possible. She is not a fan of the kennel, but she will kennel if you make her, but she does well when left alone in the house too. She originally came into rescue in September xxxx and was quickly adopted. She was returned to rescue due to not adjusting to a new baby in the family in July xxxx. The family tried everything possible to help her adjust, but she was just too jealous of all the attention baby was receiving and acted out with potty accidents, destructive chewing, and fighting the kennel - the family wanted what was best for Cheyenne and returned her to rescue to find a home that would allow her to receive the attention she was seeking. Cheyenne is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, spayed, and started on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. She currently weighs approximately 50-55 pounds.
